Porcelynne Juliet Camisole and Tap Pants

Recently Porcelynne asked for testers for her Juliet Camisole and Tap Pants.

Juliet Camisole and Tap Pant - image 1As with all of Porcelynne’s patterns, there’s something a little special with this one too.

But I’ll get to that in a minute or two.

Here’s my Camisole and Tap Pant set. I chose this lovely Rayon fabric that is very light and has a great drape.

I chose to use purchased bias tape in a coordinating color. This is a really lovely set, and a quick sew too.       I didn’t sew the straps down for modeling on the display form, and I’m glad I didn’t. The straps cross on the back and I hadn’t done that when I pinned them in place for the pictures…  so I won’t show you the back on this. You can see how the cross on the back on the pattern above.

And that crossing of the straps is one of the special details of this pattern. The lovely double straps at the front that crisscross at the back.

This is a lovely pattern, that’s a fairly quick sew, and has some lovely details included. I’ve seen a few makes from others on social media and those makes really inspire me to make something again.

Happy creating!
