My son and DIL love cats. They have two, and call them my grand-kitties.
I saw this gorgeous stretch rayon fabric and knew exactly what I wanted to make for my ‘kids’.
Isn’t that adorable for a couple of cat fans? They were both going to get undies with cats on them.
His
For my son I used the PUG Michael pattern. It’s similar to SAXX in that it has a cup for support and comfort.
I’ve made this pattern before and my son likes them.
In the past I’ve made a front opening for these briefs, but I was thinking these would be more for sleepwear than daily wear. As a result I didn’t make the front opening this time.
I think he’ll like them.
Hers
For my DIL I used the House Morrighan Clover Boys Brief.
I really like this pattern, and sadly it’s not on Etsy anymore. None of the House Morrighan patterns are. I don’t know where they can be found now.
Oh, both briefs are so cute.

They were both fun to sew, and the material is cute and so soft.
I don’t have a lot of experience sewing on this type of elastic waistband, and the first time I did a few years ago, it looked terrible! This time I did much better, with just one little pucker at the back on hers.
Happy creating!
To be honest, I’m still not sure. I think it falls somewhere in-between the two colors. And I like them both too, but I decided this was closer to coral.
I used a peachy colored elastic on the legs to match the copper of the cups and band, but I wanted the rest shades of coral.
Oh, I still like my KS2286s. They have a bit of a ’80s vibe to them, they’re still adorable.
Oh, just as adorable!
Here’s the full set of matchy matchy.
Just lovely.
Don’t you love all these options? I do. Also, I really like the shape of these. For boyshorts, these actually work for me. There is some curve built in.
I made these up from some cotton Lycra I had in my stash. I also tested the pattern for Em in CL.
I really liked this pattern and knew I’d want to make more for myself. Em also requested more. So this style is a hit with both of us. It was time to have some fun with the pattern.
Here’s my Ruby bra. The same lace I used for this bra, and a previous Angie bra, was now being used to make the Clover Boybriefs.
I’ve used black and black cherry cotton Lycra for these, and rather than bands or elastic as the pattern calls for, I’m using black lace trim. I’m loving these panties!
Here they are from the back.
Oh, this is a lovely set. I need to hurry up and get all my gifts sewn up so I can finish a second pair for me, and for Em.
