When I heard Beverly Johnson had a new class, I wanted to take it. The London Master Class. It covers a lot of features and includes a pattern exclusively available as part of the class.
There are over four hours of video instruction. You can see here the different design features demonstrated in the class.
I really wanted to try the class, and pattern, but sometimes being an Omega shape I don’t really want to try a new pattern. Fortunately a close friend wears the same size I wear, but she doesn’t need any alterations at all. So I made up one without any changes and gifted it to her.
Here is the London I made from the class.
As pretty as this bra kit is I’m sure you want to hear about the bra, so I’ll tell you more about the kit below.
Okay. I have to tell you, the London bra gives some really good lift. I was impressed with that.
From my first trying it on, it fit quite well.
All of the pattern sizes are included in the London class.
So, do I recommend the class? Yes I do. I still think in-person fitting and instruction is the best, but if you want a class you can revisit again and again, this is great. There are a lot of techniques demonstrated in the class that are great to know.
Will I be making more London bras for myself? No. I prefer a lace upper cup like Margareta, Shelley, or Freja.
Now for the bra kit. I used a beautiful kit from B,wear.
Although I prefer a lace upper cup, this is still a lovely kit. The satin is so soft and was lovely to sew. My friend was thrilled with how soft the bra was, and how pretty it was. The kit comes with dark cherry findings, which go so well with this satin.
When I was writing this post, the lovely Noa kit was still available. You can find it here.
Happy creating!

So, here is my newest make – the Brenda Brief pattern.
Oh, well you know how I feel about these. I say the same thing over and over. I love them! I really love this
Isn’t that just lovely? What a great way to make a matching set by using the same lace at the leg opening. Or do a little scrap busting by using the color blocking option.
I really like this pattern. It comes in four styles. Two briefs (view A & B) which sit higher, and two lower styles (view C & D) which are close to a hipster. I plan to make the hipsters next!
I really wanted to make it again, but in colors similar to the above Prima Donna. So I did.
I love this! I’m really happy with it.
Here is one last photo of my new Josey Milady. Showing the inside of the bra, and the curve of the foam cup.
I have to admit, I really love the leopard theme in Prima Donna’s collection. Here’s another inspiration from the same Madison collection.
This one I think will be perfect for the Josey pattern, or the Shelly pattern, but I’m going to try copying this color combination on Lilypa’s new bra pattern –
I love this style. I can’t wait to make my own bra using the colors of the Madison above.
But they are different.
The panty having no side seams is a really nice feature.
And here is the back.
The seam isn’t that noticeable to look at. Using the lace option, it would become a feature too. And I’ve made panties before with a back seam and I didn’t notice the seam when wearing them either.
